Nathalie Remy is a Principal at McKinsey & Company and a co-leader of McKinsey’s consumer goods Practice in France; she has a deep expertise in fashion and luxury and also co-leads this Practice in EMEA. She focuses on brand and collections issues, as well as growth and international expansion. Nathalie Remy focuses on growth strategy, international expansion, brand positioning, merchandising, and retail. She has deep knowledge in the areas of product offerings and optimization of sales channels.

She also develops commercial transformation programs, retail modes, and formats. Nathalie Remy contributed to the research for Cityscope, a predictive tool for economic, socio-demographic, and consumption trends based on data for 2,000 major cities. Drawing on this work, she also helped to produce the McKinsey Global Institute report, “Urban world: Cities and the rise of the consuming class.”

Nathalie graduated from the Solvay Business School in Brussels and holds a MBA from INSEAD. She has published several articles on fashion and luxury: “Domestic consumers: The ‘Sleeping Beauty’ of European Luxury”, January 2012; “European consumers: the next frontier for luxury brands”, January 2013; “Unleashing Fashion Growth city by city”, February 2013.
